The story
Hisense is a renowned electronics manufacturer with over 72,000 employees. They generated a revenue of $5.86 billion in the first half of this year. With more than 20 branches worldwide, they distribute electronic products to over 130 countries and regions.
During the recent back-to-school season, Hisense received a batch of tablet orders from schools, requiring customized device management features for the tablets. These features included screen lock policies to regulate device usage rules for students and real-time protection features such as viewing students’ locations, setting up geofences, and monitoring the surrounding environment.
After market research, Hisense chose EasyControl, a cloud platform that has been specializing in Mobile Device Management (MDM) for 11 years, to provide management solutions for their tablets.
EasyControl MDM solution
EasyControl offers Hisense a customized solution that meets the specific demands of schools, parents, and students for educational tablets. The goal of this solution is to enhance teachers’ effectiveness in teaching and management efficiency, while encouraging proactive learning among students.
In addition to tablets, this solution can also be implemented on smartphones, allowing students, parents, and schools to have different interfaces and controls.
For the student side, they can access features such as viewing their course schedules, managing device permissions, and seeking emergency assistance.

On the parent side, they can create study plans, manage applications, and have control over their student’s device.

On the school side, there is a unified management system for electronic devices, policies, applications, files, and messages.
